The Blog

Hey everybody.  Do you know what a green screen is?  I’m not talking about those things in front of windows that keep bugs out.  I’m talking about those things that movies use for special effects.  Weird thing is that you don’t usually see them.

Why’s that?  Due to the awesome color of a green screen it gives movie makers the capability to replace it with special effects.  So, instead of the hero standing in front of a green background the movie makers can make it magically appear as though he’s standing in front of the White House.  Cool, right?

We think so too.  We think it’s so cool that we want to shoot our own green screen special effects.  We have the green screen, we have the actors, but we don’t have a location where we can put everything together.

That’s why we need your help.  We’ve set up a form on our website where you can submit any green scene locations you think we can use (there’s more details on the form page).  Any and all suggestions are welcome.  The space doesn’t need to be a proper studio, an empty garage would be more than enough.  The green screen scenes will make Charlie Kemp an amazing film and you will be a direct help towards its completion.

So if you have any leads, let us know.  And if you want we’ll film you in front of a green screen and do some magic to make it look like you walked on the moon.  Trust us, it’s easy to do.
